To enable the company to meet the differing needs of its clients, three main operational divisions have evolved, each led by experienced industry professionals and served by our own teams of directly employed, fully qualified tradesmen:
- Procare Construction – delivering building and refurbishment projects to £7.5m
- Procare Maintenance – providing self delivered 24/7/365 maintenance services
- Procare Electrical – a specialist in-house technical services and contracting division
Our people are our most valuable asset. Many have progressed through the company’s apprenticeship and graduate training schemes to develop their careers within the business. Others have been recruited specifically to meet the challenges set by a highly competitive and technical industry. We’re always planning ahead to ensure that we have the experience and talent in place to deliver the most effective solutions for our clients.

Health, safety and environment
Within the Procare Group, every individual is coached and trained to achieve continuous improvement in awareness and competency and to drive out risk and danger from their operations.
Training in health, safety and environmental management is driven by director involvement and managed within the business. It is administered internally through dedicated staff and membership or accreditation to Altius, British Safety Council, CHAS, Constructionline, Safe4site, Safecontractor and the Environment Agency.
The company holds accreditations for quality, BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and environment, BS EN ISO 14001:2004, with OHSAS 18001 anticipated in 2017. Individually, the management team and senior staff hold appropriate RICS, CIOB and health and safety qualifications and the company retains all principal certifications including Gas Safe and NICEIC membership.
The company has been based in Watford since 2000 and has developed close links within the local community. We regularly assist in work experience schemes with local schools, colleges and universities and support both junior and senior sporting activities by sponsorship of individuals and teams. Through the engagement of our staff, we also have an ongoing commitment with The Peace Hospice in Watford and other well-known national charities.
