Following the award of works, we are pleased to announce that Procare Construction will once again be working with Grainger plc. This 20 week programme of specialist external and lift refurbishment works at Ability Plaza are scheduled to commence in late September, completing 2017.
With Phase 1 almost complete, we are pleased to announce the award of further works at Featherstone High School. This fast-track refurbishment to include; art room to laboratory conversion, toilet refurbishment, and mains gas supply modification is due for completion in time for commencement of the new academic year.
The next phase of this challenging zero carbon dwelling is well underway; the installation of the steel frame has now taken place and we are in receipt of the first delivery of the locally handmade facing bricks (produced using kilns fired from timber).
We will shortly be starting a programme of seminars on site, outlining the processes, materials and design required to meet a zero carbon property.
If you are interested in attending one of these seminars, please contact Abigail Leatherland
Procare Construction are pleased to announce the award of 2 new projects which are to be undertaken at the prestigious Harrow School.
With works now well underway, the fast track summer refurbishments undertaken in the Headmaster's Boarding House and an extension for the provision of further office space, are due for completion in time for the start of the new academic year.
Following the successful completion of a fast-track project earlier this year, Procare Construction are pleased to announce the award of a second project from the Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This 12 week programme involving the installation of a new dispensary at Hillingdon Hospital is now on site and is due for completion this autumn.
As a company, we positively encourage the involvement of local community members in all of our projects and on Friday, Procare's construction team invited members of the congregation of Bushey Baptist Church, neighbouring residents of Faithfield Retirement Living and children from nearby Bushey and Oxhey Infant and Bushey Manor Junior School to our site at Bushey Baptist Church in order to undertake the celebratory 'burying of the time capsule'.
The 4 capsules, donated by Procare and crammed with letters, drawings, stories, jumpers, mobile phones and even a packet of Smash, will be buried beneath the new extension, marking a cornerstone in the church's history.
Our support for local youth groups continues with the sponsorship of Featherstone High School's, year 11 Gaelic Football Team, the ‘Southall Shamrocks’.
The team, consisting of 20 boys aged 15 and 16, recently undertook a tour of Ireland where they competed against a number of Irish schools.
We wish the team every success in their future tournaments.
Procare received great praise at the official opening of the newly refurbished library at Stanmore. The Mayor personally thanked the team for their efforts during this fast track, 4 week transformation of a dreary, non-inviting facility into a vibrant community hub. Since the public reopening on Saturday 2nd April, the library has already seen a considerable increase in visitors.
